About Us
CoolCamels began from an idea Balazs Juhasz had way back in 1999. CoolCamels started out as a site for bored
college students. Balazs was the administrator of the site. He wanted to simplify daily user interaction and introduced the CamelFarm - an automated "raise-a-camel engine"
that entertained users all by itself.
CamelFarm was one of the first "virtual pet" services launched on the web and quickly became very popular with college students, teens and kids all across Hungary.
Capitalizing on this unexpected success, CoolCamels was launched on 2002. Since then over 3 millions camels were born!
CoolCamels is mainly for kids and teenagers but everyone is welcome as long as you play the CoolCamels way. At CoolCamels users have an array of activities and features.
They can:
- Care for their camel by feeding it dates, teaching it tricsk and playing with it
- Personalize and customize their camel any time anywhere
- Create or join a micro-community in the CoolCamel "Caravans"
- Share photos, news and interests with your network of friends
- Talk online to friends
We are building a community spirit that is energetic, safe and highly creative. The basic service is free. We
